After passing the qualification process, the individual may use the protected professional title “Drainage Technologist with a Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence.”

After completing the apprenticeship, there is the opportunity to extend the general training with the vocational school-leaving certificate, which opens up direct access to technical colleges (or with additional qualifications for university or a Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). Completing the apprenticeship alone offers access to higher vocational training. This combines solid practical skills with well-founded theoretical specialist skills.
